Our students are taking Steps to Success!
Walk-a-thon: 1:00pm to 2:00pm
Come cheer on your student(s)! Students will complete as many laps as they can, as parent volunteers mark their progress on their t-shirts.
STUDENT SHOWCASE & Family Celebration: 2:30PM to 4:00pm
Stay after dismissal for food, fun, and the student showcase! See amazing student work, connect with teachers, and celebrate student’s achievements.

All students will receive a free t-shirt to wear at the event.
*Size groupings are as follows:
TK, Kinder and 1st Grade: Youth Small
2nd and 3rd Grade: Youth Medium
4th and 5th Grade: Youth Large
Need a different T-shirt size—or want to order one for yourself as an event volunteer?
Deadline for submission: Wednesday February 11th
*Youth XSmall Shirts are not available

Pledgestar makes fundraising easy! This online tool creates a custom page for your student, so you can quickly send personalized pledge requests to family and friends or share it on social media.
For every family that registers, a 2026 Marshall Lane Walk-A-Thon bracelet will be given to the student(s) prior to the event.

What is a Walk-a-thon?
It's a fun and healthy way for students to raise money for essential PTA programs! Students collect donations (flat fee) or pledges (per lap) as they walk/run a course in the Upper Lot playground.

Here's what you need to know for the big day:
Checking In: All adults attending the event should enter through the front office.
The Walk/Run: Students will walk or run as many laps as they can between 1 PM and 2 PM. It's a school-wide effort with all grades participating together!
Food & Drinks: To ensure everyone's safety and comply with school policies, please no outside food or drinks (except for water bottles).
Dismissal: After their walk/run, students will return to their classrooms for their normal dismissal time.
Celebration Time! Parents, please pick up your child after dismissal and bring them to the Student Showcase & Family Celebration in the Upper Lot Playground. All students attending the celebration need to be accompanied by an adult.
